Greetings in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Saviour.

As you might be aware, Mt. Pleasant CCAP is one of the vibrant congregations in the Synod of Blantyre. It has a huge membership that is so committed to the work of the Lord.

As a moderator of the Church I am looking forward to seeing a growing church in spirit, numbers and in the abundant knowledge of Christ.

Our Motto (Centre of Worship) signifies the presence of God where among other things people are inspired to Worship together, Fellowship together, Work together, Pray together, Share together and above all experiencing the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit working in our midst. It is very essential for each and every member to have an intimate relationship with Christ which enhances and strengthens of the body of Christ.

For the Gospel to be advanced, mechanisms have been put in place to generate enough resources to help in the running of church administration, operations, spreading of the gospel as well as embarking on charity works to the larger community as we demonstrate the Love of God to the needy and vulnerable in the process. Building a Multipurpose Hall is one notable example of how the church would like to sustainably mobilize resources that will help it to achieve its vision in the long run. The hall will be used for hiring out and realize revenue for running the affairs of the Church for the Glory of the Lord and salvation of souls.

I believe in motivating the youth they become responsible leaders of the church and the nation, and the world at large. Youths should be encouraged to love God and work hard in schools and develop self-esteem as Disciples of Christ as well.

Finally, nobody should not forget that we are bound by the Teaching of Our Lord Jesus Christ which is centered on Love according to John 13:34 [KJV] "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."

I hope that this Website will help you know what Mt. Pleasant is all about, our programmes, events and be able to realize your position in Christ as well as be able to know the role you can play in the body of Christ for the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Saviour to the whole world.
